Voting Information
As an advocacy organization, we are staunch believers in a free democratic system that allows, supports and encourages all eligible members of the community to get informed and exercise the right that so many have fought for over the decades.
To register and vote you must be at least 18 years old and must take an oath confirming that all the required information is correct. There is no length of residency requirement for you to register. You must be registered at least 29 days to vote in any election.
Who Can Register and Vote (Section 97.041, Fla. Stat.)
You must be:
• At least 18 years of age,
• A citizen of the United States of America, and
• A legal resident of Florida and of the county where you intend to vote.
*You can pre-register on or after your 16th birthday.
