Chamber Governing Committees  
The Chamber has three governing committees. These members dictate the direction of the chamber's path forward, and so their selection must be approved by the Board of Directors. Each committee consists of three board members and three general members.

Governance/Nominations
The Governance Committee ensures that the Chamber operates consistently with best governance practices for similar organizations, identifies and recommends candidates to serve on the Board, and handles any other governance related matters.

Finance Committee
This committee reviews the financial health of the Chamber, including budgeting, taxes, revenue streams, and any general accounting issues. The Finance Committee is composed of three board members and three general members to ensure transparency and confidentiality. ​

Chamber for Good/Non Profit Committee
​This group convenes nonprofit members to share best practices, network, and give input on Chamber programs and services geared to nonprofit members. It also provides training sessions and quarterly fundraising opportunities. All nonprofit chamber members are invited to participate in events and trainings. Programming is presented in partnership with our chamber's South Broward Foundation.
