Board of Directors Application Process
Serving on the Chamber's Board of Directors is an important responsibility and brings with it several requirements and expectations to best serve the Chamber membership and business community at large. Board positions are a 3-year commitment. Elections to vacant Board seats are open at the beginning of each year and close on March 1st. Elections take place at our general Membership Breakfast meeting in May.
If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, we encourage you to attend the annual Interest Meeting in February. Please check the Event Calendar for meeting details and registration.

Nomination and Selection Process
Nominations can be made in two ways:
All nominations will go to the Governance/Nomination Committee, which will conduct interviews, and select the most qualified candidates to be on the ballot. The Nominating Committee convenes on the 2nd Friday in March to interview all nominated candidates.
Alternatively, a member may skip the Nomination Committee by collecting signatures from 5% of the membership and submitting them on a petition to be automatically placed on the ballot. Click here for the petition form.
