Chamber Honors Outstanding Business and Community Leaders at Milestone Event on June 25, 2026 MIRAMAR, Fla. — June 10, 2026 — The Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its 30th Annual Pinnacle Awards Dinner and Board Installation on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Club 19 at Pembroke Lakes Golf Club. Cocktail networking begins at 6:00 PM, with the awards ceremony and board installation running from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The Pinnacle Awards Dinner is the Chamber's premier annual event as a celebration of the businesses, leaders, and community members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the economic and civic life of the Miramar and Pembroke Pines communities. The evening also marks the official installation of the incoming 2026-2027 Board of Directors. "This milestone 30th anniversary is a reflection of the extraordinary community we are privileged to serve," said Patty Archer, Executive Director of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Chamber. "Each of this year's honorees represents the very best of what it means to lead, serve, and invest in southwest Broward." Dennis Giordano — Calvin, Giordano & Associates The Lifetime Achievement Award honors an individual who has dedicated their life to community service, championing business-community relations, and contributing to the social and economic development of southwest Broward. The award is named in honor of Ed Minaya, founder of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Dennis Giordano is one of the founders of Calvin, Giordano & Associates, multidisciplinary community development firm offering a range of building department, planning, engineering, and other professional services. Coceano Community Leadership Award Vice Mayor Mike Hernandez — City of Pembroke Pines Vera Burke — Memorial Healthcare Named in honor of former Miramar Mayor Vickie Coceano, this award recognizes individuals whose leadership has strengthened the communities of Miramar and Pembroke Pines and created a healthier, more productive environment for businesses and residents alike. This year we are honoring Pembroke Pines Vice Mayor Hernandez for his work fighting for South Broward against the development of the trash incinerator. With more than 35 years in emergency medicine, Vera Burke serves as Director of Emergency Services at Memorial Hospital Miramar, overseeing adult and pediatric emergency services, emergency management and patient flow. Corporate Stewardship Award Keiser University — Pembroke Pines Campus The Corporate Stewardship Award acknowledges a business that has met and exceeded its responsibility to invest in and support the community where it operates. Keiser has been a valued chamber partner, hosting chamber training events, sharing development resources with our business, and welcoming the community to their campus. Small Business of the Year Garnes Injury Law This award pays tribute to the entrepreneurial spirit and recognizes a small business that has demonstrated excellence, commitment to customers and employees, and measurable growth within the Miramar and Pembroke Pines communities. Erika Garnes and her team have been visible in the community and contributed immensely to its betterment through educational and probono services. Rookie of the Year Bling-Bling Jewelry Love The Rookie of the Year Award recognizes a business in its first three years of operation that is already demonstrating outstanding entrepreneurship and community contribution. The husband and wife team of Luis and Maricela have been wholly present and involved in the business community, and inspiringly dedicated to their business journey together. Pinnacle Awards Daniel Singh — Rodriguez Legacy Team Kimani Lee — Level Mortgage Michael Joseph — Dade County Federal Credit Union Nathalie Delaine — nVibeTribe Life Coaching The Pinnacle Award honors servant leaders who are engaged in the growth of their own business while actively giving back to the Chamber and the broader community. These chamber leaders have contributed the chamber's success over the last year and have made a positive impact on their member peers.
