Danny is thrilled to announce his promotion to the position of Chief Operations Officer of Florida. Danny's journey with WestCare has been marked by dedication, passion, and outstanding leadership in the behavioral health field. His commitment to improving the lives of individuals and communities has been a cornerstone of his career and a driving force behind his success.

Danny Blanco began his career in 2009 as a dedicated case manager, focusing on adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. In 2015, Danny was appointed as the Coordinator of Outpatient Services at WestCare The Village South, overseeing the outpatient programs' daily operations. His success in this role led to his promotion in 2016 to Director of Outpatient and Prevention Services, where he led a team delivering community-based clinical services in Miami-Dade County.

In 2020, Danny was promoted to Vice President of WestCare The Village South, overseeing all operations in Miami-Dade and Broward County. His innovative approaches and dedication to improving the quality of care for individuals in need solidified his reputation as a respected leader in the behavioral health field. By 2023, Danny had advanced to Senior Vice President, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization's strategic direction and ensuring comprehensive behavioral health services delivery to the South Florida community.

Throughout his career, Danny has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to empowering individuals to overcome behavioral health challenges. His visionary leadership has been instrumental in promoting awareness, reducing stigma, and enhancing access to quality care. Danny's efforts have successfully forged strategic partnerships with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations.

On accepting his new role, Danny shared, "I am honored to accept the position of Chief Operations Officer for WestCare Florida, where I am committed to leading WestCare's Florida operations with integrity, innovation, transparency, and a focus on continuous improvement.
