The Economic Development & Diversity Compliance Department at Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is excited to announce the launch of its 2024 Business Excellence Program. This comprehensive program is designed to equip local businesses with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully capitalize on the estimated $2 billion in upcoming business opportunities within the South Florida tri-county market. The program consists of six engaging sessions spanning from October 17 to December 5, 2024. Participants are encouraged to register for all sessions. Attendees participating in at least four of six sessions will earn a Business Excellence Program certificate of attendance recognizing participation and commitment to the program.
"We are thrilled to launch the Business Excellence Program as part of our commitment to supporting the economic development of our community,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. “This program will provide local businesses with the tools and resources needed to succeed and contribute to the growth of Broward County.” Each of the Business Excellence Program’s sessions will delve into essential business skills, including: Session 1: Thursday, October 17, 2024, 6 – 8 p.m., Pompano Beach Cultural Center 50 W. Session 3: Thursday, October 31, 2024, 6 – 8 p.m. (Virtual)
Session 4: Thursday, November 7, 2024, 6 – 8 p.m., New River Meeting Hall, 60 Weston Road, Sunrise
Session 5: Thursday, November 14, 2024, 6 – 8 p.m., Flamingo Hall, 12855 N.W. 8th St., Sunrise
Session 6: Thursday, November 21, 2024, 4 – 8 p.m., Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac
