Knowledge and skills of layperson CPR/Choking/ AED use in adult, child, and infants. Also to include statistics and need for the community to get involved in an effort to save lives.
Speaker:
I have been in the fire rescue service for nearly 30 years and currently serve as a Chief Officer at a local fire rescue department. I've been teaching EMT/Paramedic students since 1994 and continue to certify students in CPR/AED/ACLS/BLS/First Aid. I also own and operate a small business (Community Awareness Resuscitation Education LLC. C.A.R.E.) that provides these courses. My graduate degree is in Emergency Planning/Administration (planning, response, mitigation, recovery). Throughout my career I have been and continue to involve myself in committees and groups. As it relates to the medical field I'm currently a member of the Governing Board for Florida Medical Center/North Shore and have recently taking on a role as a member of the Health Committee for the Chamber.
